As a staple of NYC’s comedy scene and a DJ with roots in the city’s rich hip-hop history, Cipha Sounds is a man of many talents. With a knack for observational comedy, a background in improv, and an arsenal of music industry anecdotes, Cipha’s sets are always unique – drawing on the energy of the room and the audience. When he’s not traveling the world with comedians like Dave Chappelle, Michelle Wolf, Mo Amer, and Michael Che, you can find him performing at Manhattan’s legendary Comedy Cellar, headlining major clubs around the country, and starring and featuring on TV shows like Tru TV’s "Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks", Fuse’s "What’s Ur Thing?" and HBO Max’s "That Damn Michael Che". He also spent many years as a host on Hot 97’s morning show, the original DJ for Chappelle’s Show, and a touring DJ for artists such as Lil Kim, Mos Def, and Rihanna.
