Many of the world’s top comedians began honing their stand-up skills on the EastVille stage! Our open mics feature the city’s top up-and-coming comedians regularly crafting and fine-tuning their material. EastVille often has the audience sitting in on the open mics watching the raw creative process at work.
There is only a 1 drink minimum to perform at our open mics. Audience members not performing are also subject to the 1 beverage minimum. Certain independently produced open mics may also have a small cover charge in addition – so ask the host when you arrive. There is no age restriction or other requirements to perform. Comics must arrive 30 minutes early to sign up in person (not via email or phone). Line-ups are determined the day of the open mic and on a first-come basis. Our open mics usually book up quickly. So, those arriving late are not guaranteed to perform. Comics receive between 5-7 minutes of stage time, but this may vary.
