Comedian Profile

Sophia Jane Wilkof is an Ohio-born, California-raised, Brooklyn-based comedian and actress. She produces and hosts the monthly Good & Funny Comedy Show at Beer Garage in Park Slope and is a regular at Greenwich Village Comedy Club and Halyard’s, in addition to performing at clubs throughout New York City and Brooklyn. Sophia was the only female finalist in the 2024 Comfy Clash Competition at Comic Strip Live and was also a finalist in the 2020 Portland Comedy Festival. In 2024, she made her Edinburgh Fringe debut with a two-week run of her 45-minute solo show, Gut Feelings. She returned in 2025 with a month-long run of her new one-hour show, Liggy Sauce, which received rave reviews and was praised as “heartfelt and hilarious, with brilliant pathos, punchlines and profundity in one jam-packed hour.” During the festival, she was also selected to perform in award-winning compilation shows alongside acclaimed international comedians. Sophia’s comedy blends polished storytelling with delightfully unhinged observations, finding humor in life’s messiest moments. Her sharp wit, emotional honesty, and fearless vulnerability leave audiences wanting to laugh until they cry and cry until they laugh.
