Samuel Brookfield

Hailing from the UK and raised in the swamps of Far North Queensland Samuel Brookfield brings a unique blend of brutal observations, haphazard philosophy, and psychedelic flights of fancy to the stage, tackling the harsh and magnificent realities of existence head on. As a comedian Samuel has been described as ‘unique’ by the Good Chat Comedy Club, ‘remarkable’ by passers-by, and ‘well meaning’ by a coroner. After creating a series of sketch comedy shows that culminated in the gruesomely well received 'Zombies!! The Musical', Samuel moved into pure stand-up, reaching the Queensland finals of the RAW Comedy Competition. His hour shows at the Good Chat Comedy Fest (2022/23), Adelaide Fringe Festival (2023), and Sydney Fringe (2023) have received applause and acclaim for being so closely timed to an hour, people wondered how he had done it. He also co-hosts the world’s third most well-known Brendan Fraser podcast: ‘Turns of Frase’. As an emergency nurse, social scientist, very amateur Zen philosopher, and stand-up comedian, Samuel Brookfield is here to cover a lot of ground.
