Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch is a New York Times bestselling author of five essay collections. Her work appears in the New York Times, Washington Post, The New Yorker, the Los Angeles Times, and Hadassah Magazine. A two time finalist for the Thurber Prize for American Humor Writing, she was a regular NPR commentator and toiled in the comedy world on TV, gigs included: 2 seasons anchoring HBO's award winning "Not Necessarily the News," 7 seasons of hosting "Dinner and a Movie on TBS, "Better Things," "Dexter", "Seinfeld." On stage: just the highlights, many shows at: Carolines on B'way, Joe's Pub,The Moth Mainstage. Her most recent book, "You're Leaving When? Adventures in Downward Mobility" was a N.Y. Times Favorite Book for Healthy Living.She's currently writing a Hallmark movie for Andie MacDowell.
